Captain Cecil Herbert Bodington (20 January 1880 – 11 April 1917) was an English cricketer. Bodington was a right-handed batsman. Bodington made his first-class debut for Hampshire against Surrey in the 1901 County Championship. From 1901 to 1902 Bodington represented Hampshire in ten first-class matches, with Bodington's final first-class appearance for Hampshire coming against the touring Australians. In his ten matches, Bodington scored 154 runs at an average of 11.00, with a high score of 36. With the ball Bodington took nine wickets at a bowling average of 31.88, with best figures of 3/19. Bodington served in the First World War in the Royal Horse Guards, attached to the Household Battalion from 1916, where he held the rank of Captain.
